The Computer Networks group is a research collective within the Telecommunications and Signal Processing Laboratory in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at McGill University. Research endeavours within the group include:

  • network pricing and resource management
  • network monitoring and tomography
  • all-photonic network design
  • sensor networks
  • network traffic and protocol modelling
  • game-theoretic problems in networking
  • distributed estimation in networking

The research involves theoretical analysis and modelling, computer simulation and hardware prototyping. The research in the Networks group is funded by federal and provincial agencies such as NSERC, FQRNT and CFI, as well as from industrial contracts.
